So,to understand the future,first one can go through past.Let's go into the past,the history of great village IBRAHIMWAL DISTT KAPURTAHLA.The village is about 350 years old & the land of village belongs to the Muslims.The two persons named ARSHAD KHAN & GULAMNABIN KHAN were the owner of the land of village.They together made the name of village"IBRAHIMWAL" from their Father's name "IBRAHIM KHAN".The two men made distinction of their land on the basis of Sun's Position.The sunrise side known as "CHARDI PATTI" belongs & property of Arshad khan & the sunset side known as "LEHNDI PATTI" was the property of Gulamnabin Khan.They were the head of the village at that very time.Later,a relative of both named SARDAR KHAN of distt. Gurdaspur came to meet the two brothers.They gave him the designation of Zaildaar of the village.
After few years there were two main or popular Mohalla's established called NIZAMPUR mohalla,where ARAYIN people lived( the people whose main job is to sell the vegetables) & the other called DAULATPUR mohalla ,where KAMMI people(The people whose main job is to work including Carpenters,Lohaar,Mouchi,Julaha(cloth-maker) lived.But today Everything is changed.The Daulatpur mohalla is splitted from village & it is a separate Village now. Some Brahmans made this village as their residential place so it is also Known today by "BRAHAMWAL".
It is estimated that about 4 -5 Muslim's Religious place called MASEET were there in village.Also there were 5-7 wells in the village from where people draw water for home use.But now there are no Maseet & none of the wells exist. But some places even exist today from that old time & the main place is the "BABA BOLLEH SHAH DARBAR".It is the very popular Religious place locate at the center of the village.People from all around come & get the blessings of the sacred place.Other Place is the " MATA KA MANDIR" which was setup by brahmans.Today,it is very popular mandar known by "MATARANI MANDIR" & is locate at the main road of village.Other holy places nearby the village are explained in "HOLY PLACES" section of website( photos of these are in the photo gallary).
The first school established in the village was the GOVERNMENT PRIMARY SCHOOL( from class 1st to 4th).But,today it is upto +2 class.As the time passed there is change in the population.Approximately there were about 8 houses of ARORAs,30-35 houses of BRAHMANS & 20-25 houses of BALMIKIS people reside. The fist ARORA person who came to this village for trade was "S.KISHAN SINGH ARORA" belong to KAPURTHALA.The arora family chart including me is below shown::
Today,the village is almost aquired the shape of a town.
